Dovetail: An Upper West Side Restaurant Adam Platt Really Likes

New York Magazine's Adam Platt really likes the new Upper West Side restaurant Dovetail, but was it my imagination or did he seem a tad condescending about the fact that he found an restaurant in my nabe to his liking. I will admit that the Upper West Side has been a restaurant desert until recently, but things have improved markedly in the last couple of years. Platt does succeed in making me want to try the restaurant, though I don't understand how a plate of duck breast and pistachio nuts ended up tasting to one of his dining companions like "old shoes."
