Hanukkah Hams for Sale at Balducci's

ele-bonelessham.jpgNancyKay Shapiro posted this photo of an unintentionally humorous display at Balducci's for Hanukkah hams. Now I'm definitely going to serve my prosciutto-topped latkes next Hanukkah. [via Gothamist]

Speaking of hams, I am definitely in need of a new place to buy a holiday ham now that my beloved Kurowycky has closed. Any suggestions? I was thinking of one of the Hungarian meat markets left on Second Avenue in Yorkville or one of the other Polish-Eastern European butchers on First or Second Avenue in the East Village.

Only in America! And maybe in Italy.

Great Posting! It goes right along with the saying "Hag Samach...Now Go Away!"
