In Need of a Serious Pig Destination Sunday Noon
My friend John T. Edge is in NYC and he has requested that we eat pig when we break bread late Sunday morning. Fette Sau doesn't open that early, and I can't say that the reviews by either Peter Meehan or Robert Sietsema have me convinced I should take Mr. Edge, a true pig afficionado, there. The Smoke Joint does open earlier. Has anybody been?
I might end up taking him to Greater New York Noodle Town or Pig Heaven for some Chinese-style pig. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Pig joint? How 'bout Wilburs in Goldsboro. Remember? You and Ira sampled everything except the menu and toothpicks.
